Familiar, New

Poetry & Prose | October 6, 2014

I fell

Slowly, drifted
Into your arms
I couldn’t remember
Why the leaves trembled and broke
It happened so suddenly
Before we knew it
The ground was covered
Look from far away-
All the colors blend,
We saw it
Happening, in a way
Absentmindedly
But we didn’t really see it
Until it happened
And it was too late.
