Filled With Rain

Poetry & Prose | March 12, 2019

Today

I woke up to the pitter-patterns of the sky

And the slight grumblings of thunder

The rain dissipates and soaks up

My own cloudy thoughts.

Washing away the worries

Trapping them in the dark cotton

Of nimbuses above

Until another day
